They will all be watching the rags at Arsenal as it will undoubtedly be on live like every other rag cup match has beenI think you might be wrong. All of Salford will be out for this one. There will be loads of tickets. Maybe 6000 as you say. And most of them are Rags. It will be any excuse to turn up at City in black and kick off.
Most of Salford know each other. The Salford City fans will know the Rag hangers on.Which is kind of what I was saying. That the Salford City fans themselves won’t be the issue. It’ll be all the hangers-on
ExxxaaaccccchhhttlyThat fucking milk advert will be played ad nauseum.
Fleetwood lad, dad from Whalley Range, first saw City in 1969, Fleetwood in 1964.Do you follow them everywhere?
Turned the TV on to watch the FA cup draw and found I was watching a documentary about the Rags but it all came good when the Rags drew ArsenalSaw the draw was from the swamp, presented by peanut headed rag woman, who was about to interview Mickey spanner Thomas and the bride of Frankenstein aka lee Martin. I couldn't switch over fast enough.
We've got cut price vanity project FC and twats are away (!) to the arse ..... heads will roll.
Any other interesting ties?
That’s assuming both games are on at the same time - even the same dayThey will all be watching the rags at Arsenal as it will undoubtedly be on live like every other rag cup match has been
And how stairs lead to bedrooms. Can’t lip read but I guess Dublin is waxing lyrical about his 10 game career at the swamp
What will they bring 1,000 real fans 1,000 family and friends, and 4,000 obsessives in black snide North Face JacketsYeah, I don’t think there will be any big issues with the Salford City fans themselves. The problem will be if loads of United fans get their mitts on tickets which is possible if we give them an allocation of 6000 or more.
I think the club will give them the usual 3,000.
More than enough for the amount of fans they get - i think the police will advise City otherwise you will have 4,000 or 5,000 rags turning up looking for trouble
We can't just decide to not give them the full allocation if they ask for it. They're entitled to it and if they request it, they'll get it.
it's then up to Salford to put in place reasonable measures to put off any rags wanting to cause trouble and make sure they go to their genuine fans only. That could mean they take a reduced allocation, or they could require ticket history to be eligible. if they don't bother doing anything and they turn it into a rags in disguise day trip to Manchester then they'll have the multiple hefty fines to deal with for the inevitable fan disturbances.
Those are nothing to us and other premier league clubs but they hit smaller clubs really hard. They won't want to be giving the majority of their windfall from this tie back to the FA because they didn't bother to restrict tickets to those who are genuine.
An ideal opportunity for the club to be creative and realistic with pricing.Unless ticket prices are dramatically reduced and there are special deals for families I can't see it being a great attendance unless we give discount to Barcelona fans to come
