FA Cup R3 | Salford City (H) | Sat 11 Jan 1745

I’m a former season card holder for many years from the Maine Road days but gave up a few years ago for mainly cost reasons. I have a normal Cityzen account but can’t seem to buy a ticket for this one so I can take my 5 year old grandson to his first ever City game? Don’t say I have to fork out £35 just to be able to buy a ticket?
You can either buy through a £20 membership (for your grandson) or ask someone if they will help to sort you the tickets.

So , say, I just wanted to buy a ticket for myself I’d have to pay for a memebership even though I have 1000’s of ticket points on my Citizens account?

If you can't sort it without a membership, I'll pick them up for you and email them across [emoji106]

No I appreciate it but I’m just trying to get my head around how to go about buying match tickets these days!
Sympathise with you mate, I've mentioned a few times in this thread that I'd like to see tickets made available to all citizens, otherwise there's no point giving the club all this praise for cheaper tickets when they're still behind a £35 pay wall.

If I were you I'd hold on until the new year, as I wouldn't be surprised if the club made it available to all citizens at some point, and it's unlikely to sell out before then.

That’s a very kind offer which I may have to resort to. Excuse my ignorance but if you did that would I just print out the email?
I don't think you can print them off, but the ticket has a link that gets emailed to you, and clicking on it will download it to your phone....if that makes sense

Yea we cant get two seats together anymore, if you pay 70 plus quid you might.
As a thank you for decades of support, tens of thousands of miles travelled, sheds loads of lost wages, or used holidays. You can now get tickets to watch Salford FC, we hope you enjoy your 600 mile round trip for this huge game. We know if City had drawn a pl team the tickets would still be north of 50quid.

Sorry City if I can't get or afford pl tickets I'm not paying to watch Salford FC !

At this rate our matchday fans will be season ticket holders and tourists, us rest can do one :(
Bye bye...

So you have'nt got a season ticket ?

The club should price all games so everyone can afford it, if the only games that were affordable were games like Salford, but priced out for the premier league I would think fuck it

I’ve come out of the FA Cup scheme for the first time ever. I can’t be arsed going to games any more with kick off times that are obviously targeted at television audiences rather than the grass roots supporters who actually attend games.
As the old saying goes - ‘If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em’.

She stopped when it become a requirement to have 4 memberships rather then one to get her tickets. I think that’s fair enough to be honest. Occasional fans are not as bothered.
That is bullshit!

Since when do you need four memberships to buy tickets? My son hasn’t a membership but he has attended six or seven games so far this season. He has a supporter number from around ten years back and is on my Friends and Family list.
