FA Cup R4 Draw | Leyton Orient (A) | Sat 8 Feb 12:15 | Live on BBC One

LOL playing the only a scouser would say that card!
Anyway, I didn't say that I thought they would I was questioning the poster who seemingly suggested that theoretically they couldn't?!
To use another analogy we endlessly had smoke blown up our arse about winning the champs league, eventually we did.....

It'll be their year.

AGAIN :)

We’ve not had a decent FA Cup Saturday away day, where you can take a big tribe of 7,000+ Blues all on a proper piss up, for fucking years!

We’d have had good ones at Goodson in the 2021 Quarters and St James’ Park in the 2020 Quarters but they were both during the Covid football lockouts.

The last one we had was back in January 2016, away at Villa. And that FA Cup occasion was somewhat lessened in intensity by the fact their fans didn’t bother turning up and we had over ¼ of the attendance.

We’ve not played one of our big rivals away in the FA Cup on a Saturday since February 2004, against United. Whenever we draw any rivals, it’s nearly always at the Etihad or on a Sunday or midweek night games.

I’m starving for one me. I want Liverpool away and take over the Anfield Road end and make a fucking racket. Especially with the fact that thousands of proper Blues will never get the chance to watch City at Anfield anymore due to the ticketing piss take the club have put in place over the years.

From my usual new team or new ground perspective:

Exeter City - Home or away

Leyton Orient or Derby County - Orient home or away, don't want Derby

Millwall or Dagenham & Redbridge - Millwall home; I've seen them at Maine Road and us at the New Den. D&R Home or away.
Preston North End or Charlton Athletic - PNE home I've seen them at Maine Road and us at Deepdale. Don't want Charlton.

Mansfield Town or Wigan Athletic - Mansfield home; I've seen them at Maine Road and us at Field Mill. Don't want wigan.

Tamworth or Tottenham Hotspur - Tamworth just because it will mean they've knocked out Spurs. Don't want Spurs.
Looking less likely as Spurs have just scored.

Hull City or Doncaster Rovers - Don't want Hull. Doncaster at home would be good. I've seen us at both their grounds.

Plymouth Argyle - Home or away. I've seen them at Maine Road.

Coventry City - Home or away. I've seen them at Maine Road.

Newcastle United or Bromley - Bromley home or away

Wycombe Wanderers - Home

Ipswich Town or Bristol Rovers - Bristol Rovers at home. I've seen them at Maine Road and us at The Memorial Ground. Don't want Ipswich

Crystal Palace or Stockport County - Snackpot at home; I've seen them at Maine Road and us at Edgeley Park.

Think an Arsenal away would be great. 8,000 blues getting stuck into there “ultras”, would be a great away day. Only problem is the distance.
