It’s Leeds v Millwall.

I went to the 2nd leg of a play off game at Elland Road a few years ago that Millwall won. Millwall fans were kept in for about 90 minutes after the game and it was a bubble game too.

It was pretty wild outside afterwards but it was Leeds fans attacking West Yorkshire Police. There was a police horse running loose without a copper on its back. Leeds fans were smashing up their own buses. Utter chaos. It was great fun.

I’ll be surprised if Millwall ask for or are allocated anywhere near the 4k+ tickets they are entitled to.
 
Fingers crossed Derby get through so I can take my grandson to a different stadium. Obviously Spurs away didn't turnout how we wanted. But Bristol City was great atmosphere and result to match. CTID
 
How many tickets would we likely get for Leyton Orient ? I'm guessing only a couple of thousand ? I'd love to go to a new stadium, and it's near my birthday, but don't think I've much hope really.

Not arsed about Derby.

Between 1000-1300 tickets for an FA Cup tie depending on what you read and who you believe.

After the club, sponsors, hospitality, the OSC's, etc take their share of away tickets, there won't be a lot of tickets left for sale on the OS ticket page.

Not quite right, It was Saturday 7 May 1966, I went there to see a 2-2 draw.

It was three days after the 1-0 win at Rotherham where City clinched promotion. Brisbane Road was a dump back then, The stands were held together by rust.

A week later, City were back in London in the wide open spaces of the Valley for a 3-2 win. The old terraces were massive, You needed binoculars to see the action from the top.

I have never been to Pride Park but did go to the Baseball Ground several times. Now that was a dump!

The Baseball ground brings back memories of Big Joe pacing out the penalty spot, iirc!
It really was a terrible pitch as were many back in them days.
Yes it was a dump.
 
Last one I remember at the baseball ground was when we had a goal disallowed as the referee blew his whistle as the shot entered the back of the net.
Think the city fans, me included , invaded the pitch which was mainly sand.
Anymore info ?

Dennis Tueart header, the ref was Derek Civil, could easily have sparked a riot if it had been more than a routine league match, still get pissed off about it when the topic comes up!

I was there for the 2.2 in 66.

Their second goal was 150 yards offside and Harry Dowd kicked the ball into the stand in temper.

More wet spammers than Os fans.

If its Derby (a) we could/should get towards 5000 tickets.....Capacity 33600.

Good real ale pubs and transport links.

Not a bad draw or venue for a good day oot on the piss.
 
takes two and a half hrs to get to derby and the same to get to london which is ridiculous but our train system, so travel wise either is ok, however we should get 3 times more tickets if it's derby so hopefully it is.

1 hour 45 minutes by coach through the Peaks or Staffordshire Moorlands.

Good pubs en route.

Train to Sheffield and the station tap....lovely !!.
