If correct , glad Phillips is getting a start , he has not become a bad player overnight and tonight is an opportunity to prove himself , really hope it goes well for him a confident in-form Phillips has got be a positive for the run-in.

Good line up. Important Rodri gets rested. Looking forward to it. Good for Alvarez to get a chance up top with a good support cast.

Good side but overly strong imo. If Gomez can't get a start here, he's surely no immediate future with us. Resting and protecting ake and giving gomez a game wouldn't have changed our team strength that much.
Perrone not getting a start is a tad underwhelming but more understandable given he's been here just a few weeks, hopefully another 30 minute cameo from him second half.
Palmer always seems to be unavailable when a genuine chance to start comes up, makes the bench today, would have liked to see him start too. Coming on for the last 20 if the games won and the aim is to coast it isn't the same.
Big night for phillips, a start in a midfield that's starting 11 in a cup final standard, needs a solid game. doesn't need to standout just do his job and show reliability.
