Thanks for your post. I will let her know what you have said.Fantastic women in the day would do anything for there bloke and there bloke would do anything for them, that’s probably why so many are still together ( no disrespect meant to any later couples)
And I think you're right about what you have written.
We have had our ups and downs like most other couples,but I still think the world of her after all those years.
And I like to think that she feels the same way about me (hopefully).
the old romantic in me, should point out, that that 5th round tie, (my wedding day,) was also Valentine's Day, and 41 years on, its a bit late for a "quick" divorce!
After 41 years marriage most blokes have to settle for just a "quickie". ;-)

Went to Notts county away in 91. Mother of my children’s first and last away game.
Has fuck all else to do that night !You can just bet the Pisscan will be there in the stands, there to encourage his boy just like when Darren booted his missus up and down the old soak’s driveway and he got the case moved to a day when there were no journos in court
His lads (lad) are City fans tooDurham is.
However he does say he has a soft spot for city and the fans as he watched us a lot when he was a uni student here.

Fucking great day their boys were well game it was proper toe to toe stuff. Thankfully that sort of shit is rare these days but back then it was a good laugh and got the adrenaline going.Fuck me went to the game there in 81..went off big time..full of lads at some fair or something..going back to station after the game was manic..it was proper fighting..not the posturing for the mobile phone lot.

I completely agree that it’s not great but it’s not a new thing. This is the third season that fifth round has been scheduled for midweek.Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but I’m dismayed, and annoyed in fact, that this round is being played in mid-week.

Great post and summed it up to a tee. I could have kicked the fucking tv inWoke up for the FA Cup draw and turned talk sport on.....
They introduced Andy Cole and played a clip of the rags wonderful treble in 1999 winning the Cup and then spoke about the rags losing on pens on Friday - so here we were at the 5th round draw discussing a team who weren't even in it.....
And when Boro were pulled out of the hat we were reminded that they beat Manchester United........

It kicked off before the game as we were escorted from the station..then in the ground in the corner with fans trying to get into each others sections..then afterwards..yeah glad it's not like that nowadays as I'm too bloody old lol.
