The second time in a week thousands of away fans clog up the M5 heading to the big game at the EtihadThink they will bring thousands and will create a great atmosphere . Just hope not too great for them

One of my mates Argyle fan flying over from Canada on Thursday staying with his Aunt in Manchester flight was 800 quid return fair play to him said how often will he have the chance to see the best team in the world. Don’t think he has seen us play lately lolGot two cousins coming up with the gang greenies, funny when they lived in the nice part of Stockport 20yrs ago they were a blue and a red
The Shakespeare is terrible and the wrong part of town. Head to the Northern Quarter or Ancoats then walk to the ground. Lots of fantastic places in those areas with great beer. A lot of them don't like football colours though so bring a coat to cover up. You will find our fans very welcoming. Is there a pub guide anywhere on this forum? Think my old haunt of the Jabez Clegg might be an issue.
Looking at Shakespeare and Crafty Pig as being decent beer without too many hipsters.
Try deleting the pass and reinstalling. On my phone my pass did not update but when I downloaded it again it did.Anyone having trouble with downloads into the Apple Wallet? Bought my son a ticket for tomorrow, but when i try downloading from the email on my phone the pass doesn't update. He has his Citizens official member pass within my wallet but its not showing the fixture for tomorrow. Any help much appreciated
Thanks for feedback. Is there more than one Shakespeare? Looking on Fountain St M2, but suppose getting too close to the Gardens. The Shakespeare is terrible and the wrong part of town. Can you list me the pubs with great beer in the Ancoats are for future games when I stay in the Travelodge there. The Shakespeare is terrible and the wrong part of town. To be fair if he wants to avoid hipsters ,maybe the Northern Quarter not the best bet :)The Shakespeare is terrible and the wrong part of town. Cask, The Edinburgh Castle, Seven Brothers if it’s open. On Great Ancoats Street itself you have The Crown and Kettle. Bar Fringe has superb Belgian beer ( opposite Band on the Wall). A short walk to the Castle, Oldham Street and the Port Street Beerhouse. That’s for starters,Can you list me the pubs with great beer in the Ancoats are for future games when I stay in the Travelodge there.
Fair comment but there are also some proper pubs in the NQ like the Lower Turk’s Head and the Wheatsheaf. To be fair if he wants to avoid hipsters ,maybe the Northern Quarter not the best bet :)
Most of the Piccadilly pubs are shite. Waldorf is good but very much a City pub. Thanks for feedback. Is there more than one Shakespeare? Looking on Fountain St M2, but suppose getting too close to the Gardens.
I do not like the beer there. Most of the Piccadilly pubs are shite. Waldorf is good but very much a City pub.
According to the Fail, City have cancelled 250 tickets of Plymouth fans who bought them in home seatsCrazy the rules are that you can only buy tickets if you have been to 1+ FA CUP game, Imagine that will stop a few actual city fans going but will still somehow get some plymouth fans in the home end no doubt
Between the Lower Turk's Head and the Piccadilly Wetherspoons for me prematch.Fair comment but there are also some proper pubs in the NQ like the Lower Turk’s Head and the Wheatsheaf.
