City have had several PR disasters recently. Great way to gain some positive PR and help grass roots. Just do it City.

I remember playing Cheltenham during Covid and loads of City fans bought virtual tickets and raised a fair amount for them.

As an Exeter fan, the statement we’ve put out is cringeworthy and embarrassing as hell. Banging on about how good the supporters trust model is, only to then go and plead poverty and beg for more money.
Puts you lot in a horrible situation. Say no, and you’ll be made out to be the bad guys not helping the lower league sides, say yes and you’ll be told you’ve been bullied into it by said lower league side.
All ECFC had to do was ask MCFC behind the scenes, don’t make it public or anything, then if MC did say yes, put out a statement saying they’ve done it and that we’re grateful etc.
Now we just look silly about it.
