I know this goes against the grain a bit but strangely I'm more up for this semi-final than I was last year and the year before. Those two felt like a bit of a chore getting up for and getting to (although both were decent days out in the end - yes, even the Liverpool one despite the shit performance and result). Also, a mate of mine who hasn't attended an FA Cup semi since 2017 said he's keen on this one if we can nail down some half decent train prices when the date of the game is finally announced.

For me it’s almost fatigue in going to the same places and cost, it’s like the CL, it’s the same bloody teams, Madrid again, Munich again, sometimes I’d love us to go into Europa to go to those back of beyond places (Ye I know the football is shit but it’s an adventure). I used to be the same when it was cheaper to go to all games if I could get a ticket, but there’s far more to the world than just football, if I can combine the two then brilliant, I’m seriously looking at going to the USA in 2025 for the club World Cup, but my daughter wants to got to Tokyo in 2026, so I think that will win!
Agree completely, especially as someone who enjoyed Timosoara, Poznan, and Salonika.

Last season I attended all the CL games home and away, but this time I couldn't be arsed returning to Leipzig and Copenhagen.
I'm going to Madrid, but also starting to look at holidays that have got nothing to do with football, albeit USA 25 is tempting.

As for the FA Cup, our Semi Final record under Pep is quite underwhelming.

First time most in my group are going for years as well. If anything should be a good game and a good day out. Always find Wembley days a good day out no matter what. I think if you have access to travel other than the sanitised club coaches it improves your day dramatically but I don’t think most people do.

Yeah, I definitely agree with this. Still had a couple of mediocre days out when making the wrong choice for where to drink when trying to find somewhere on the East side only to find all the pubs were full so will avoid those places for this one.

Yep. In light of this, I think it will be Willesden Working Men's Club for me - was in there last year before the Sheff Utd semi and it's a great set up with only City fans allowed in when we play semis and finals at Wembley. 2 stops from Wembley Park on the tube.
This sounds great. Is it easy to get to from Euston mate?

Reasonably. Euston Square rather than Euston your best bet. Metropolitan Line Westbound to Finchley Road. Change there for the Jubilee Line Northbound to Dollis Hill. Get off there and it's about a 5 minute walk.

Just be aware that Chelsea fans booked themselves in there in 2013 before City fans had a chance to so might be worth checking on that beforehand.
