It’s a bit of a red herring really. No referee is ever going to book a ‘keeper who’s been booked in the game for a bit of gamesmanship, if he knew it meant a red.

Sure, it’s like time wasting. It’s grandstanding. No keeper is getting sent off for time wasting.

However, there should be a ban in my opinion, which counts for little!

I don’t like talking hypotheticals but again, if the referee knew giving a ‘keeper a second yellow could rule him out of the final, I highly doubt United’s‘ keeper is getting one for something so trivial.

Has anyone ever seen VAR declare a player ‘level’ and therefore onside? They always seem to play with the lines to get a decision either way yet sometimes it’a obvious they should be on top of each other and therefore level.
