On the 7.15am train from Piccadilly. ETA Euston 9.21am. Going to be a long arse day and was happy to stay off the alcohol until I got down there but a mate has other ideas and is bringing a bottle of Grey Goose for the train journey. I'll be fucked by 11 at this rate!
Was your mate the guy i saw at the Wigan Final being dragged to the turnstiles as they desperately tried to get him to stand up on his own saying "come on pal you can do this, just try and stand" as he replied "no i can't".

I don't get to many games so pleased I've been able to get tickets. It's been years since I've done Wembley too. Which drinking holes are people planning to use?
The pubs on the East side of the stadium where we're situated are shite in the main, plus you'll be lucky to get in any of them because most of them are just about big enough to swing a cat in. If we were on the West side I'd recommend the Green Man or the roundabout - weather permitting - otherwise I reckon you're better off drinking in Central London. That's what I'll be doing. The pubs around Euston were packed with blues when we played Chelsea in the League Cup Final the other week

Euston or Kings Cross are good areas to drink around and you can just hop straight on the tube or train to Wembley, plenty of boozers and back street pubs outside both stations.
If you want somewhere a bit different then Great Portland St has a good few bars and is only a few tube stops away from Wembley and a 15-20 min walk from Euston.

I live in Bicester so would get the train directly from there to Wembley Stadium without having to go into London.

So for City I would not see them as good venues.
Ok for me but seems to be a pain in the arse for the local Blues.

looking at the ticket site we can all sit anywhere. Most sections only half sold if that. But I presume people are thinking well £80/£45 for semi final on a Saturday night in London and then people are being presumptuous that we are going to win so back next month for again stupid prices.
Yes the pricing is terrible when the Prem capped away prices but this is just the FA taking the proverbial I know. But I will be there.

Fair enough, there's a few round Wembley but generally the boozers we have been allocated really aren't great. I'd advise seeing what's available on your route in and if there's anyway half decent nearby you can stop off for a few jars.

Our 15th trip to Wembley in 8 years (and it would have been 16 if the 2012 Charity Shield hadn't been switched).
I've attended them all, and I'm going next Saturday. However, once we've received the obligatory, tedious social media ridicule, there's no escaping the fact that a Wembley FA Cup Semi Final, (especially when we're expected to win) is a complete pain in the arse.
Some people are faced with a choice of Brighton at Wembley, or Tottenham at the ETIHAD in the Champions League.
Others are still balancing the books from the League Cup Final, whilst those who normally struggle for Wembley tickets were evident at the Charity Shield.
In short, it's a mess, but we won't receive much sympathy.

I've bought the £30 tickets and should be able to sit in the £65 seats. Boom.looking at the ticket site we can all sit anywhere. Most sections only half sold if that. Good post, and all true, what should happen, but never seems to, is that those who keep increasing the prices at City, maybe realise it's essentially the same people buying the tickets generally all the time, and with the pricing all they are doing is pricing people out, equalling probably the smallest ever following for a semi final at wembley, what good is that to City. The champions league game v spurs should have been 30 quid all over the ground, just to help the fans on top of the semi final, but in their wisdom they try and squeeze every last penny, and now we go to wembley with at least 10000 empty seats in our end, having said that, loads cannot be arsed, nothing more nothing less.
