We get nowhere near 90k for semis, as we had Chelsea last season it was almost 81k but normally around 70k.

People aren't interested, would much prefer a smaller closer stadium, even if played at Stoke or Elland Road. The clubs are greedy though, and WNS Ltd is still in a load of debt, so it will be decades before anything changes.

Some people are not interested and many cannot be arsed that is the truth. City will sell 15000 or so to season tickets and the members will take up the slack in huge numbers like they have done for all our recent visits. Once the criteria opens up the tickets will fly off in their thousands

Old Trafford 70.000 is big enough, Anfield 60.000, I never understand why semi-final's are played at Wembley
This is what killed the Dream of getting to the FA Cup final and a Day out for the fans

If forest were in the same situation they certainly wouldn't be asking for extra tickets, and most likely have a half empty end.

This will be the 30th time we have played at Wembley since 2011, surely no other team can match that.

It averages out at 2 times per year, can you imagine how much a really die hard fan has had to fork out in that time?

This is very true

Wembley for the semi is an off putter for many, travel costs, lack of transport home if onn trains and the hour or so it takes to get back to anywhere decent for a post match chill out.

Villa park, the swamp, anfield or elland rd , all would be preferable for the semi to many

At already £85 rtn for the train I haave one affordble londaon away game left in me this season so will save my money for the final and if we don't make it go to fulham the week after, which is much more enjoyable than a wembley semi final trip wise.

I remember 2011 (just, lol) and having played the semi final at Wembley and against those cunts, it did take some of the shine off the final. Given how many times we’ve been there since it clearly can never be the same buzz. Obviously for Forest it will be a big buzz cos they hardly ever get there. Point of note - when the CS was played at Villa park we sold out easy, Chelsea had thousands unsold

It's almost 20 years since the FA announced all FA Cup semi-finals would be at Wembley to pay off the building costs, yet some people still go on about neutral venues. It will never happen so instead we need to apply pressure on the FA to have all semi-final options decided before the quarter-finals are played, and confirm them as soon as the semis are drawn. - And these should be sensible options not ones that would immediately cause transport anxiety such as half five on Sunday. If the Sunday semi-final has to be played at the same time as a PL game then so be it.
The only exception would be if a Thursday League team was drawn against a team playing in the CL the following Tuesday, which would result in a problem anyway.
 
Ideal venue would be Bramall Lane or Hillsborough just a short hop for both sets of fans. Admittedly it would mean a lot of fans watching on telly but would save those going a fortune and a lot of time.

As long it is neutral ground then it doesn't matter how many miles between the clubs, Cardiff Glasgow or any other big grounds should be used, What did it use to be ?? The FA Cup, The Road to Wembley

Evertons new ground, Anfield the swamp in Trafford & the Etihad when the new stand is completed will all be around 60k, & then you have the Emirates & White Hart Lane for London/ Southern based teams so there are enough grounds to play the semi-finals at a neutral ground, but we know the FA are only interested in ripping off fans. Villa v Palace is probably the hardest tie to find a neutral ground roughly half the way between.

Like the premier league clubs, the Fa are more interested in the TV revenue & match going fans are thought of last
 
Villa are doing a refurb so needs to expand to a 60000 seater venue (plans are 50000 atm), and have it used for all semis and international friendlys etc,
