FA Cup SF Draw | Nott'm Forest | Sun 27 April 16:30 | ITV1

Well after much soul searching (and being at the swamp yesterday) after doing 22 out of the recent trips there I will be missing this one.
Its not cost. It is simply the fact that train times are pretty restrictive and I aint.staying over for a semi final. So I will be called a plastic, a part timer but my 51 yr old skin is thick enough.
So pissed off because the fact is Wembley has been paid off.by
Last train back to Manx is 2149 which should be ok unless it’s 121-120 on penalties!

It’s the ones not going that worries me pal. We need all the passionate Blues there we can get, and I know you are one. Appreciate your reasons for not going though
I'm massiveley torn pal. Looking fwd to Goodison away more than a trip to a Wembley in a cup semi . Also seeing what others are being expected to pay for Villa at home mate. It's disgusting. Talking to my friends in the concourse yesterday mate, for the 1st time I actually felt old mate. It's not even the season we are having, it's just really tireing mate. Maybe I am just in the FOC club now

Goodison is a dump, get yourself down to Wembley, it might be our last visit for years

I’m fine with semi finals at Wembley, will give my mate who lives down there my ticket, it’s a puss take now especially with the times etc. I’d rather save my money for the final if we get there to have a weekend down there. Fuck the money grabbing FA, hope all blues going enjoy it though.

You've earned the right to decide whether you want to go or not. I'm on a lads jolly in Majorca so I can't be there myself. I'd have gone if I wasn't away but I'm not impressed with that kick-off time. 3pm would've given fans plenty more options to get back on the train, plus it wouldn't be too early a kick-off to impact on the atmosphere and pre-match drinking.

Do people think this will sell out? I'm not a season ticket or matchday member but would love to go

How long did we queue for, for the Rags semi in 2011? Was it 8 hours?

I can’t see it, no. We didn’t sell out against Brighton or SheffUtd by some distance. We did sell out against Liverpool but there were loads of tourists and the atmosphere was dreadful. Last year against Chelsea there were empty seats but not as many as Brighton or SheffUtd.

Don’t see it being much different this year. There’s a proper apathy for these Wembley semifinals now. It’s become like the Wembley Community Shield. Many just give it a swerve in the hope we get to the final to keep the final special.

Would be good if the FA or the club put coaches on again from the Etihad to help fans get there and back better like the FA did for the Lpool semi in 2022.

The Liverpool semi didn't sell out. Sheff Utd didn't either but we had more fans there than we did against Liverpool. Chelsea last year was officially a sell out - both the original 34,000 allocation plus the extras we were given - but there were a few no shows

On the face of it, this one might struggle to sell out but it depends on how much slack the members take up. The selling criteria seems to be a bit too convoluted for me - at the moment, it only goes down as far as members who attended 2 FA Cup games since the 2022/23 season. They should've announced criteria beyond that IMO instead of adopting a wait and see approach

we sold out plus the extra making it nearly 37000 against Chelsea, which was a tremendous effort

I wonder how it’d go down if the first criteria for a final, should City get there, was ‘on the cup scheme AND attended the semi final’ before moving on to points?
