FA Cup SF Draw | Nott'm Forest | Sun 27 April 16:30 | ITV1

You need to use split tickets. It is the only way to use the trains. The most I have have paid for London from near Preston this season was £64 return with a rail card and the cheapest was £37. You can get a cheap ticket to Crewe or Brum. Lots of cheap tickets from there to London. You have to book early of course. You can also use the Chilterns Line from Brum direct to Wembley Stadium. It only takes an hour longer than Avanti.
As you say 'you have to book early'. Bear in mind there is only three weeks between the semi and final if we get there, what will be the cheapest adult return even today with split tickets? Currently the cheapest for two adults with a rail card that I can see is £97.50 so £48.75 each but it's traveling out at 6.41 arriving at Euston at 8.41 and then not leaving until 20.31 arriving back at 23.26 having changed at Crewe. Cheap yes but a bloody long day. Wait till Sunday and see what that cost will have risen to.

Just edited my own post. You can still go by Brum direct from Manchester to the stadium and it is a lot less hassle. I agree the trains are a disgrace of course. It is always a long day!

You can still get a return train from Manchester to Brum then Brum direct to Wembley Stadium (200 yards from the City fans' entrance) and back on Sunday night (even with extra time) for £59 (with railcard) and £73 (without card). That would have been much cheaper a few weeks ago.
Why engage ones brain, do a little research, a bit of planning, much easier to sit onarse , moan, and blame someone else.
And I agree entirely with your sentiments re some fans.
It's gone too bloody far.

I see the other 3 Semi Finalists are showing as sold out (I think)

Is it known how many they have sold (without guessing).

We have sold 34.8k. People seemed to think we might get more released to us from the neutral (‘football family’) areas but I don’t think that’s happened.

I had no idea they were stopping selling them this morning

Can anyone sort me out with 4 ideally or 2 pairs of 2 ?

Train prices are a fucking scandalous cost in this country, trains for the semi would be £110 for me - with a railcard - it’s equal with the late kickoff time as to why I’m not going on Sunday
Agree that rail fares are scandalous but it was £78 for an anytime return with a railcard
