Not much of a grapevine that lad.Saturday with a 5.30pm Kick-off so I hear on the grapevine
Me.Maybe I mix in the wrong circles mate but plenty of lads I know prefer a little bit of a lie in, setting off about 10am, couple of beer stops on the way then park up early enough to leave a bit of time to get a few more in before kick off. Coming home’s the last thing on a lot of people’s minds - it’s a big day out, who wants to be home for 10pm on a Saturday night ??
Tourist, don't forget your half and half scarf. Can't make the game as I'm away in Barcelona watching that lot play Atletico for a stag do. I booked my flights a few months ago, but it'll probably work out about the same price as train tickets and a hotel in London would have cost. No doubt we'll be a little under capacity again and everyone will have lots of laughs, but you can't expect fans to turn up to these season after season paying the price of a European break and then have them do the same thing a month later if they qualify. I suppose it's a nice problem to have but it's still a problem and I don't blame anyone who decides to save their £££s for a potential final.
Ha, in my defence the stag actually is a Barcelona fan who lives in Spain. (But he's American, so I'm not sure that makes things better).Tourist, don't forget your half and half scarf.
I bet a Rag arranged this trip ;-)
Do that at Wembley and the only thing that will change is the size of the fines the club will get.Still no kick off time confirmed SIX DAYS after the draw.
Travel arrangements on hold, price increases, hotels full, return rail journeys uncertain etc etc.
Incompetent, unprofessional and a complete lack of awareness and care for their customers by the FA.
Until fans start to take direct, militant & disruptive action (tennis ball stoppages during the game) nothing will change.
ONLY FAN ACTIONS WILL CHANGE MATTERS !!
I’m onboardFuck it, I will announce the times. We will kick off at 1.30 and there will be extra trains laid on leaving Piccadilly at 8.00, 8.30, 9.00 and 9.30 calling at Stockport, Macclesfield and then straight through to Euston. After the game there will also be extra trains and the last one for those who want to go on the lash will leave Euston at 10.30pm. Not that difficult really is it. Oh and fuck the TV blackout, nobody cares about Brentford v Villa or Palace v Neverton.
