They always check tickets outside at OT, they want any excuse to stop you. I have seen someone who was about 25 getting refused on an under 16, no chance of an upgrade.

Newcastle are identical so it doesn't matter, impossible to tell.

Yeah they always have a manual check before you go through that little first barrier they have now. But this year the tickets didn’t specify adult or concession. So I was looking out for lights going through the actual turnstile and there didn’t appear to be any of them either.

At City as long as the person using the ticket is on your family and friends list it allows adults to use even concessionary tickets !

It ‘allows’ anyone to physically present the ticket and gain access. A concession ticket will light up yellow though. Then it’s down to whether the individual steward notices/ gives a shit.

I’m not sure. It could be like Leipzig away where the lead booker gets an E-Mail to download the ticket onto their mobile phone. If it’s as simple as that then you can just forward it on to the relevant people to download the ticket themselves. Don’t take that as gospel though as they may be doing it differently this time.

They don't use concession stubs anymore there anymore, the ticket office are supposed to circle the category with a pen but don't always. The biro could be removed by the looks of it.
