Try Chorleywood station. About 5 or 6 stops to Wembley, not packed and a good pub next door
shhh! don't be telling anyone ;-)

been doing that years and the good thing about it is not being full of fans there spoiling a nice afternoon drinking in the countryside.

leave the masses to around the wembley area and watford please

Hillingdon is usually what I use. Big car park, decent pub right next to the Station and 20 mins to Wembley on the Metropolitan Line.

As pre-match entertainment we have this to look forward to at 3pm...

Millions of mobile phones across the UK will emit a loud alarm and vibrate at 3pm on April 23 in a nationwide test of a new public alert system on the day of the London Marathon and FA Cup semi-final.

The system is intended to be used in life-threatening situations including flooding and wildfires.

The message will be received on 4G and 5G mobile phones, along with sound and vibration for up to 10 seconds. Phone users will be prompted to acknowledge the alert by swiping or clicking the message before being able to continue using their device.

Loud alarms going off at every stadium in England just as the games kick off

Because flooding and wildfires are such a regular occurrence in the UK....

Parking at Stanmore then getting the Tube in from there. Parking on someone’s drive for £9.
I usually park on a drive north west of the stadium. Price is a few quid more but saves getting the tube afterwards. Keep going north west after game towards Rickmansworth before following satnav to avoid most post- match traffic. Other option I like is parking somewhere like Banbury on the Chiltern line then train to stadium station.

Mate, in less than 10 years we’ll all be dealing with daily wild fires, with the only chance of not being burnt alive IF the polar caps defrost and we get flooded putting out the fires. Global Warming … we are all doomed I tell ya.

This warning system may save a few of us.

Be arsed with the train at them prices, anyone driving down and staying anywhere relatively cheap?
