Who do you want in the Semi Final?

City should ensure that any fan who attends the semi is at the front of the queue for the final - we'd sell out easily.

Ticket criteria for the final could look like:

Fans with X points, on the cup scheme who attended the semi - day 1.
Fans who attended the semi - day 2.
Fans who are on the cup scheme who didn't attend the semi - day3.

That's coming from someone with over 20k points, on the cup scheme, who can't make the semi!

So if I've been to every round, I'm on the cup scheme, but can't make the semi, someone who just went to the semi gets a ticket for the final before me?

There’s also, perhaps surprisingly to some, a significant number of season ticket holders, even those on cup schemes, who have no interest in attending any matches other than home ones. Even Cup Finals.
That's my pal,who has sat next to me since we moved to The Etihad (and the last couple of seasons at Maine Road) down to a tee.
He's been to Wembley twice, for the Stoke City and Wigan Athletic finals. I can't persuade him to join me on my pilgrimages to Wembley,so have long ago given up trying to cajole him.And he is on both domestic cup schemes.
My brother usually ( but not always) uses his membership number to get a ticket so he can sit next to me.

In terms of selling out the semi, quickly, the club should release all tickets to as many fans as possible early on.

I have a few family members, friends etc who would all love to go to the final and sit/stand together in the ground. But I can buy tickets on day 1, whereas the next person has to wait until 2 weeks later or something daft, it messes up peoples plans.
Yep, me and two mates want to go but if its limited to ST holders or points then only two of us can buy tickets together - fingers crossed the criteria drops down quickly

Yes there are but in a high demand game a lot of those - not all but a significant amount - will buy the ticket for a mate. Don't underestimate how many blues do this. I do it all the time with my dad and his mate's tickets.
