Ah right, a couple of Posters have indicated they are
According to the Wembley Stadium website they are using contactless tickets in Apple Wallet.
Sorry I don't know how to download a link, but it's definitely there on the website.
And I am assuming that if they use Apple Wallet then they can also use Google Pay.

Can they just be downloaded to any old mobile or do you have to be registered with City ? Makes it problematic to get tickets for occasional fans.

I have no idea to be honest.
But I would imagine that any season card holders and Citizens members would be able to download them like they do with all home games.
I've no doubt we will find out early next week.

Quick question about bank holiday traffic: Surely it's worse on Friday and Monday; the first and last days of the holiday?
Just wondering.
They tend to be more spread out, with a lot coming back on Tuesday to avoid it making that day busy, and a lot travelling after work or the morning of the first day off.

I have never had any delay getting to Wembley until getting close to the M25. The only times I have been delayed on the M6 on a Saturday in memory were going to Stoke away.

you've been going for years you say.
so this season at home, you haven't bought tickets so far for "occasional fans "
if you had, you'd know the answer to your question.

That’s definitely the case. Good Friday between 09:00-15:00 and Easter Monday between 11:00-17:00.

So I have a print at home season ticket and the occasional fan I refer to is my daughter, the only game she’s been to is Leeds as she’s away at uni and for that game I was able to simply add another PAH ticket to my account for which she didn’t need to even be registered as a Cityzen

So who’s looking forward to the journey then ?
