Sad day.

Just settling in for a day's intensive seat counting and I find that we have been nobbled forever.

I hope you all appreciated the service put in for you by us hardy souls.
Gutted about this. I'm fucked if I'm going to start counting individual seats in each block so we're both redundant now!

I wish it was 8pm Saturday already, 4 days of buildup to this one is going to be unbearable.

First time at Wembley and taking my 12 year old daughter. We will be in section 118. What sections do the Liverpool lot have ? I’m assuming the other half of the ground? Can see it being sold out ,or not far from capacity by the end of next week. To be fair,as excited as my daughter is , I’m not really thinking about Wembley at the min. It’s all about this Sunday.
Also taking my daughter, but not for the first time. The little shit is a wembley veteran at 12. Yes, they have the other half and hopefully you have a great time. Something quite special about walking up to wembley with your kid.

The game's gone, my friend.
We're back in business. Just realised there's a quickish way of doing it. Go to where the slider is and where it says number of seats, just keep your cursor on the "+" and as it starts going up it eliminates individual blocks when the number passes what's available in each block. Not done a full count up of each block but there are 618 remaining in block 522 and 280 in block 504.

That's convoluted. You need to get practicing. Set yourself up a spreadsheet, practice all day and it should become second nature.

You're our number one seat counter. You owe it to City fans everywhere.

you can still do it though
if you click to buy in each individual block, you can choose the seat you want, and therefore count how many are left in each block, only for the hardened seat counter from now on though !
Well that seems a change with lack of thought (something very familiar to me during years of suffering corporate bullshit) - why remove the drop-down list? I hadn't realised it was a quick way to see number of seat vacancies until I queried the methodology of the hardy counters here, last week, and now clicking on a block doesn't even summarise numbers remaining.
Nor does the presentation work. I randomly sampled the home game vs Brighton, asked for 2 tkts, clicked on (for instance) 207, but there is only one seat available there. It may be a relatively rare request, or perhaps not, but how long do they think 'customers' have to click around the ground looking for seats under this website format? They should be encouraging easy sales and selection criteria, not making life more difficult.
City would be far better off spending money on improving the whole ticketing (and ticket office) experience, not paying a web-designer to make needless changes to justify his/her existence.
