We were drawn there in the 3rd round in 2007/8 where it was 0-0 and we won the replay.
The game was memorable for three things. The first was Rob Styles (talking of bent refs) denying us two what appeared to be absolute stonewall penalties.
There was one on Vassell I think but the one that took the biscuit was Anton Ferdinand tripping Petrov. It was absolutely a nailed on penalty which we could see from the other end of the ground yet Styles gave a goal kick.
Then Kevin Horlock was in with the City fans and got paraded around the concourse on someone's shoulders at half time.
The other thing I always associate with that game was that it wasn't long before the Munich 50th anniversary game and The Guardian printed a story about City fans singing *We're all going to the Golden Jubilee" at the game. Quite a few City fans took Barry Glendinning to task over that saying it didn't happen. Glendinning retreated ever more desperately first saying the journalist had heard it at the game, then that he'd heard it in a pub and finally, when challenged to name the pub, said someone had told the journalist that it had been sung in a pub.
Years later it turned out that it was complete bullshit and that the City PR guy, Paul Tyrrell, had asked The Guardian to print the story as they were worried about what the fans going to the derby match were going to do. Unbelievable Jeff.
