So Barnsley knocked out by a offside goal. And that’s fair apparently. people want to go back to this ?
There are many problems that if sorted will make VAR more palatable Firstly the technology available isn’t good enough to judge whether or not a player is 2mm offside. Secondly the way it is being used is wrong. Thirdly the people using one week are the same people making the same errors on the pitch the following week. Fourthly there is no consistency. Why wasn’t the judo throw on Sterling, that was what the commentators described it as, not studied minutely and given as a penalty yet a gust of wind that blows over the likes of Salah, Fernandez, Mane etc results in a penalty. Fifth, there is no transparency, the officials all need to be miked up as there are in rugby and cricket. Sixth, all stadiums need to have screens so decisions can be shown to the crowds. If poor rugby league stadiums can sort them out then the mega wealthy premier league clubs can. In the same way that grounds have to be at a certain level lower down the leagues if the clubs gain promotion then it should be made clear to clubs that no large screens (minimum of two) means no admission to the premier league. Once all these issues are sorted we might just VAR being accepted. So Barnsley knocked out by a offside goal. And that’s fair apparently. people want to go back to this ?

Yes but if var would have been in use they'd have had a penalty in the first half.
Wasn't offside though and Chelsea were denied a stonewall penalty in the first halfSo Barnsley knocked out by a offside goal. And that’s fair apparently. people want to go back to this ?
