Team news is in with Taylor selecting a mix-n-match starting XI for this 4th round tie. Jill Roord will captain the side & new signing Rebecca Knaak will get her debut.

Ipswich team:

Substitutes: Hartley, Fisher, King, Bryant, Watson, Rutherford, Addison.

Game is being screened on the FA Player and also on their YouTube channel

Can't win the raffle if you don't buy a ticket. Poor keeping to allow that one to creep in. But nice one Jill!
Yep - also a great early tackle and pass from Knaak - Jill needs those first time passes to get space.

Thanks for the tip about this - what with the mid season break had forgotten about this - just put it on - and we’re 1-0 up :-)

I see Kelly starting too.

Seems a bit odd to have womens FACup clashing with the men’s in the sense it seems to be getting very little publicity.

Not the greatest 45mins of football we'll ever play but at least we go in ahead at the break. Not really creating that much and can't really remember their keeper having that much to do. Could do with stepping up the pace a bit and making this more comfortable.

Find it interesting that LBB is playing the deeper midfield role instead of Coombs who you would think would be more suited to the position.

Agree . We seem to be bypassing the DM role most of the time

A very comfortable win. Good minutes in the legs after the winter break and ahead of bigger games to come starting next weekend with the double-header against the ragettes. Knaak looked comfortable on her debut though not really tested defensively. Will be interesting to see who gets the start in our back 4 when everyone is fit. Great to have Viv back as a real striking alternative when Bunny isn't available and she took her goal really well too.

Ipswich have come with no attacking intent and are desperate to keep the goal tally way down from the last time they came here. Interesting stat at HT on the MDC - 40odd% to 50%? Checked on the BBC and it was identical. Clicked on the page and it immediately changed to 70odd to 30 odd. Very odd.

There was 45 seconds of euphoria, ten mins or so of delerium and the rest consisted of mind-numbing tedium. Our build up play today was the equivalent of trying to get into a tin of sardines with a tooth pick. At HT I thought i'd just seen the most tedious half of football we'd ever played. There was little potency up front and little dynamism across the midfield. The backline looked amply secure but they had little to contend with. I can't recall Ipswich getting into our penalty area either half.

Do you know when the draw is for the next round pal?
