Did the referee see it? If he did and chose to ignore it, the FA can do nothing about it.

Is that how it works? Not sure.....remember this...http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/6360125.stm

Barton was booked by the ref for a challenge on Mendes, but the FA still had another look at it afterwards, but only dropped a charge after they decided they couldn't prove it was intentional. The FA HAVE looked at incidents seen by the refs before.

best example is ben thatcher. the fa changed a yellow to a red and gave him an 8 match ban.

Wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens, but I bet they are having to think long and hard about it.

If the ref says he saw it then he should be refereeing in the conference this weekend

We gave him an 8 match ban didn't we?

Ah yes. So it was 4 matches from city (2 suspended) and 4 from the FA. Makes sense.

Whichever way you want to look at it, it seems there's one rule for the rags and another for the rest of us.

Is it any wonder why I hate those bastards with the fury of a thousand syphilitic and rabid skunks
