FA investigating PL boss over sex allegations - bbc/athletic

Was in a bowling club having a beer many years ago, a guy I used to work with said whilst rubbing his stomach:

“The old butter is playing up”

I asked him what he meant, butter?

He said

“Butter, Butter Bean, Gene, Gene Pitney, 24 hours from Tulsa, Ulcer”

Ted Roders would have been proud of that one.

"Premier League boss" says to me that it's not a club's manager but someone high up in the actual PL organisation instead.
yeah its very weird. they repeatedly use the phrase ‘Boss’ throughout as though the author is actually trying to give a hint as if the guy uses it as their nickname or whatever.

Or if its a manager do they think by saying boss its more vague and less likely to be falling foul of the court order.

Please be very careful as to what you are posting. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who a lot of you were hinting at. And I'm sure @Ric doesn't need any legal issues to deal with. Thanks.
