FA Youth cup away to West Ham tonight.

Thought it was a tight game by to really good footballing teams.
We got a bit of a soft pen but sometimes that’s how it goes. We’ll done to both teams
I agree, The commentators on the West Ham site said the same. Mark Noble one of them?
Home draw against Reading in the next round.

Was a decent, very sporting game none of the usual trips and shirt pulling etc, so credit to West Ham.
I thought the scales started to tip our way when Lawrence came on and Ndala had a more free role. We had a lot of potency then.

Have to be honest but mixed feelings from that performance. On one hand job done against solid opposition, but lacked Man City identity, very little interaction between the players and relied on individual ability for large parts. I was working in London in December so went to Watford game and was impressed with some of the quick one and 2 touch through the thirds, short passes but with purpose cutting opposition open, very ‘City’

Also wtf has Harrison gone? They Miss him big time, every time he plays grabs the game by the scruff of the neck and raises the tempo improving them around him and scoring lots of goals. Got to get him back in.

Clearly very strong group with good chance in the competition but could be so much better than they were for first 60-70 minutes last night

Watched from the 70 min. & was positively surprised how much we dominated them. Last year WHU & City had the strongest u18 teams but this year we are weaker (8 points behind United, no words to the u21). I liked Simpson-Pusey, Mfuni (15!!), Wright, Oboavwoduo. Ndala tried a lot but lost the ball too much & was ineffective.
