£8m for a current England International in his mid 20's was an absolute steal.
I'd never considered Delph as a City player until the initial link was made, but it immediately made sense. I was strangely deeply gutted when he made his initial U-turn as I was bang into the idea of him coming here, but even then I just had this deep down feeling that wasn't the end of Delph to City.
I was more anxious about us getting Delph than I was with KDB & Sterling. Glad we got him, he's gonna be brilliant for us and all for £8m, it kind of makes up for the big money we've wasted on the likes of Jo etc.
