I never really rated this guy as more than a useful squad addition but for £8m and given he's HG probably well worth a punt.

The problem is I think the penny has dropped with Delph that's exactly how the club also viewed him.

I'm a bit pissed off but at least it's £8m more to play with for the other, major targets.

What is concerning is the lack of home grown alternatives..the others would all cost an absolute fortune and potentially mean its a stretch too far financially to land some of our other targets. Back up keeper wise Hart has already said willy has helped him enormously..so dunno about that changing. Fucking hg quota damaging us just as much as ffp..twats. Sorry about this deal going tits up.
