His age injury history and wages will put a lot of club off.

With justification. His injury record has not been good with us. When fit he proved he was a useful player so would be worth a punt for most sides if
he provided he was prepared to take a cut in wages.

I know he doesn’t suit our style in midfield but he’s a cracking player and seemingly very good in he dressing room too, I would have thought any club outside the top 4/5 would have jumped at the chance to sign him. Obviously wages and injuries may stop it being viable for some teams but he’s a damn good player.

He looks average in our team because everyone else is superior technically (in midfield) but in a slightly less technical team I think he would be brilliant. At somewhere like Burnley, I think he would be head and shoulders above the rest of the team technically and no one can ever question his desire and workrate.
