I think Coentrao is excellent, but surely if their was one area that United didn't need to improve it's at Left Back.

Despite being an obnoxious twat, Evra is a hell of a Left Back.

Good going forward which is why he fits in so well for them but cant defend for shit and often gets done in the air when isolated in his own penalty area (its always surprised me teams don't target the short arsed **** in those kind of situations). Just read Red Cafe they moan about him defensively constantly.

Coentrao can play, but Evra can play as well. Different players and I think Coentrao is better, but the delta isn't so large that I'm particularly concerned either way. If they try to play either of them as a winger they'd be disappointed.
