Cesc Fabregas: Rejoined his boyhood club last summer
Fabregas, 25, has started all three of Barcelona's La Liga games this season but has been substituted in each of the matches, most recently in the 63rd minute of their 1-0 win over Valencia.

The Spain international, who re-signed at the Camp Nou from Arsenal in 2011 for £30 million, has conceded he is not content with a bit-part role for the club.

He told Radio Marca: "There's no such thing as a great substitute in the world of football.

"I couldn't tell you what makes a great substitute. I always wish my team-mates well and put a happy face on.

"If I have to take my unhappy face home then so be it, but I would never let my team-mates or manager see it."

Fabregas competes for a starting berth in the centre of the park with Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Sergio Busquets and new recruit Alex Song, his former Gunners team-mate.

"Everybody likes to play every minute of the season," he added. "I've always said that I play for the best team in the world, but I came here to compete, to learn and enjoy, not to sit wracking my brains.

"The manager knows what I can offer. But across the three positions that I can play, I am competing with the three best players in the world.

"I'm delighted to be a part of this team but when a coach tells me I have to go, I'll go.

"But I will not make it easy for him to do so, by any means. I will keep going, looking forward to the time that things change. I came here to see out my career."

The unhappiness of Ronaldo and Fabregas, plus the clear availability of Falcao means that unlike in the window just gone there may soon be players available who can clearly improve our already talent squad. In summer most of our main targets seemed unavailable or snatched by other clubs (Hazard for example).

If Ronaldo ever moved there's only one team in Europe that could afford him, it's as simple as that............

Depends if we want to upset UEFA and their FFPR.

I will very reluctantly swap Silva, if he doesn't sign his contract for Fabregas.

The squad is effectively full so any acquisitions now means departures excluding Kolo. Ok so for arguments sake Dzeko leaves and Falcao joins. Who does fab replace.

Silva, unless he signs his contract extension.

And if he does sign, is fab classed as home grown? I thought the consensus was fab would play alongside Yaya
