Fabregas injured, City for the title?

Just look at the bench for us on Sunday:

Shay Given, 8m, Irish international and one of the league's best keepers for years.
Joleon Lescott, 24m, not worth that amount but still an English international
Emmanuel Adebayor, 25m, devistating on his day
Shaun Wright-Phillips, 8m, England world cup player
James Milner, 16m, England world cup player
Adam Johnson, 8m, should have been an England world cup player
Paddy Vieira, old hand that has won everything under the sun.
Derrick Boyata, highly rated youngster

That's why we can win the title.

I think our chances are as good as any other team's chances, and maybe better. Still, my expectations are set at top 4 and a couple of good cup runs based purely on the time we've had to play together as a squad. Next year my expectations will be set at title challengers.

This thread title is a new one - good player from an absolute title pretender is injured, therefore City will win the title.

Sometimes I wish I was as optimistic as many on this forum, but I soon realise it'd only lead to greater disappointment.

(P.S. - Really hope you're right and I'm wrong by the way).

He may well fancy a name change, just let him know first. Dedryck is his name. It is a strong bench though.

If Gareth Barry keeps up his massive improvement in form of late then it's ours, he's playing like a world beater at present!
