Why people calling out the Sun? The Daily Mail have a pic of him receiving treatment. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I won't be boycotting papers, people on here are sounding more and more like the Dippers everyday!

So you chose this moment to have a go at Liverpool? Come on.

I think it's disrespectful of the papers. They know full well this might be images of a person dying, and the choose to publish them just to make people click the article. Doesn't enhance anything to show the situation, they could do like the beeb and just have an archive image of him.

& the sun thought we wanted to see a photo of Marc lying dead on the pitch, it really is a horrible piece of trash and should never have a link on here to it.

Its not often that I agree with the dippers, but their hatred of the sun is somthing I can get 100% behind.

This sounds really soft but think I will be giving my little girl an extra cuddle tonight. Life is precious and it can be taken from you in the blink of an eye.

Football is nothing on days like this.
Not soft at all mate, my youngest is staying at her mates tonight and I have just rang her and told her I love her loads.

Do it every minute of every day , your life will be more enriched.

Please vacate this thread. You are a moron who polluted a RIP Gary Speed thread with perisistent insinuations that he was a paedophile and whenever there is a serious subject covered on Blue Moon you infect it with your idiocy.

The Mail have shown tact in publishing a photograph of the medical staff surrounding the player - you cannot see the player - and additionally have used photographs of team-mates upset.
This is okay in my opinion - they have to use visual images for such a story and its a delicate balance which they have done well to tread.

The Sun published a full page photograph of a Manchester City player as he lay dead. They are vile scum.
Showing that they have learnt nothing from the widespread condemnation they recieved for doing so they have done the same thing again.

Truly horrific news. Hope he pulls through.

I've got my week old daughter by me and really appreciating how precious life is. He's the same age as me.

Shaken to the core.

Maybe I should have toned down my earlier comment there's a time and place for brutal honesty.

Lets not use this as an excuse to start a morality argument about the Sun and other media.
