Facebook City Fans!!

Don't really care where our fans come from or how long they have supported the club, so long as they are prepared to get behind the team and dont talk rubbish.

we've got some fans that have been going since they were aged one, born in manchester, go watch he reserves, havn't missed a game home or away for 10 years, but are the most boring lifeless miserable bastards ever and chat utter crap. Met some top football fans at City games from Switzerand, Spain, Germany, Japan. All more knowledgable about football than me and more bothered about the City results than myself.

all about personal opinion really, im sure theres plenty of city fans that want me nowhere near the club if so ... the feelings mutual

people around the world just love football more than a football club itself.
if i support city, it means i'd choose to watch city vs wolves over arsenal vs spuds if it's broadcasted at the same time. i don't know if it benefits city.
here, it's usual if a person support 3 or 4 clubs. one club from england, one club from spain, one club from italy and of course a local club.

Doubt it...oh well, agree to disagree.

I think that we will have to on this mate. Since we were formed, we took in the people that nobody else wanted and others thought "not good enough" to support their club. We eventually built them into a passionate supporters base which we still enjoy today.

Threads like this bemuse me, It's not just your club, how can you be so up yourselves that you want to criticise other supporters. I'm sure I'm reading comments here from people who weren't born at the time I started supporting City but I don't care. If they stick with the club they'll learn about the past. A bit of grumpy old man syndrome on here!

Where the hell have these people on facebook come from?? I'm linked with City's OS and when they show extended highlights on FB through a link these no marks come on with comments like:

"Come on Man City you the good team from England"
"Why we always draw, poor we always play"

From the Stoke game (comments posted today)
(One from a guy in Norfolk)
"don't think there's any highlights about this match. Crap again!!!"

"What was the score? Didn't get to catch it"
"No highlights if there is No win"

These do piss me off sometimes I've had to remove the OS updates as the comments were pissing me off so much. I seriously don't want these people anywhere near the club.

You find it surprising that 'fans' on facebook know fuck all ??

The facebook page is full of the plastics. Its a shame we are starting to attract these nobs who have to attach themselves to something successful(hopefully). I suppose its bound to happen but becoming the very thing we take the piss out the scum for is not something I'm gonna like.

If you've been to Old Trafford recently to watch City then you'll realise how disneyfied it is and if City ever become like that, a little bit of me will die inside.

The real fans will get priced out and the Quentins and Hugos from Surrey who will pay anything to jump on a bandwagon will take over...which is what has happened at United.

mcfcliam your spot on about the disneyfied stadium and out pricing the die hard fans, already I have heard plans of making the entire 2nd tier at CoMS executive only and I don't want this to spread throughout the stadium and loose my ticket to a twat in a suit that has only decided to watch City for the past 2 years.

What really annoys me is if we play shit and win these plastics are up City's arse but if we loose or draw it doesn't matter how well or shit we play because they just end up chatting so much shit about "sack Mancini" and that "City are always poor".
