Hi mate,

What page you trying to load? Is it the homepage <a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.facebook.com</a> or another URL.

What firewall you using. Have you tried disabling it and just trying to get on. Some firewalls can a be little tiresome, especially after udating.

Also what operating system are you using Win XP, Vista?

And have you tried reseting your browser?

homepage

windows firewall... i have turned it off it didnt work turned it back on still doesnt work, tried making it see that facebook is a safe site still wont work

im on vista

and how do i reset my browser?

thank you

Hi

To reset your browser.

- Open Internet Explorer

- Click on Tools

- Click on Internet Options

- Select the Advanced Tab. There should be a reset button.

- Press reset.

Close the browser and reopen then try facebook.

Reseting might reset your homepage, but i'm sure theres an option to keep it.

If that doesn't work, let me know

Hi

If you can run a 'tracert' and post a screen of the results.

Go to and Click 'Start'

Click i the dialogue box where it says 'Start Search' at the bottom of the Start menu.

Type in cmd

Press Enter and that should take you to the command prompt. (a black screen with a flashing cursor)

Type in tracert <a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.facebook.co.uk</a>

Press Enter

Post your results or let me know how many hops are complete.
