Facial recognition at City?

Introduce it and I will probably stop going, I understand the reason at airports but at a footballl match? Behave, the club have my address, bank details and DoB, they don't need to know what I looklike unless I do something wrong.

If a group are going to carry out an attack and want maximum exposure, surely they'd do it at the main entrance as the players enter the stadium
If the club really does have concerns, then the searches should take place on the perimeter

Which I’ve said all along.

Anyone can walk around the stadium freely. You can walk around the stadium with bags, ruck sacks, etc.

There are countless opportunities to do something before a terrorist gets anywhere near a turnstile queue.

And even there, with the queues growing, due to the time it takes to get through security, a terrorist could strike.

As for confiscating bottles, food, etc. That is to stop people consuming food inside the stadium, instead of buying it inside the stadium.

It might not be true. And it might have only been said to move me on from where I was briefly stood. But I was told by a Steward that they are being filmed to make sure they are doing their jobs properly.

I’ve never seen this quoted by city that sealed bottles are ok.

We were told it as 100% fact by a senior steward last season at our entrance, but then a few months later when a steward tried to take them off us and we quoted sealed bottles are ok he said that's rubbish and asked who told us, before i got to finish what i was trying to say he said "yellow jacket? that's showsec they know nothing". The yellow jacket in question was a senior steward. But anyway, can we shut up about bottles, they let mum in with hers every time, if we keep flagging it up they'll have a clampdown on every entrance ;)
