Just googled Moorhouses brewery and apparently on wikipedia, Pendlewitch is brewed under license in Cyprus. Funny, cos I've never it.

A few off the top of my head:

A ten gallon (80 pint) barrel of Murphy's Stout packaged in this country used to have (the equivalent of) 79 pints brewed at Magor in South Wales and 1 pint brewed in and imported from Cork so that it could say "Brewed in Ireland and the UK" on the branding.

John Smith and Sam Smith were Tadcaster brewing brothers that fell out. John set his own brewery up down the road.

Modern barrels are 11 and 22 gallons because this is almost exactly 50 and 100 litres respectively.

I have sampled most of them in my time, and without exception they reduce your manhood to miniscule proportions.

Pancreatitis, in hospital from last December till april, was 12 hours critical at one point. Slowly making my way back into the world now.

Strange reading this today. My girlfriend was taken into hospital last night with suspicion of that. They made me go home when they transferred her to another hospital in the middle of the night and only just allowed to go back now. She's waiting on a scan. The pain stopped after a couple of hours so hoping it will be fine. She had only had 1 drink at the time but I hear any amount can set it off. Was about 7:30pm when it happened.
