Well done tonight, i'm gracious in defeat, city were poor shitloads of possesion but no idea how to break you down!

Everton looked like a team we didn't, we were dog shite end of, i'm sure major surgery will take place in the summer! Don't blame bobby, the man has the spirit, just a shame not the right players.

To finish off i must admit me and a few of the boys wanted a row with the everton lot, we didn't even manage that... we bumped into 6 of the scouse cnuts who we ended up having a rite laff wiv they even bought us beer.

Swp, Ireland, Crocky santa wank, will be gone in the summer imo, ps Bellers was shite again tonight!!
 
I'm effing angry. Make no mistake the best TEAM won and it should not have happened.
Everton's defence was too good for the team put out by the City manager, Mancini and their attack did what attacks should do and scored goals. You know what I mean; they stuck the ball in the back of the effing net. Pressure doesn't count. Attempts don't count. Balls in the back of the fucking net count. Got it Mancini? Got it Kidd?
City huffed and puffed but they never had a chance with the team Mancini sent out. Doesn't Kidd have a say? Has he no bloody idea either? We had two attacking wingers and no fucking height in the middle. Sorry to be so rude but I'm mad. Where was Santa Cruz? With two wingers, Bellamy and Johnson wanting quick ball why start with de Jong? Why not Vieira from the start? Look, I'm old but I could pick a better team than these two posers: No! My wife could pick a better team than these two. With Jagielka and Distin in the back how did they think that Tevez was going to break through on his own? Effing stilts?
The difference between the two sides was that Everton looked like a team with real purpose, whereas city looked like a compilation of players who not only didn't know what they were meant to be doing but didn't even know if they were going to be playing for City in the summer.
The decisiveness of the defeat and to my mind the inability of the management to secure a win we needed to secure 4th place in the league has hardened my attitude. Mancini and Kidd are not up to the task of achieving Champions League Cup status.
 
We didn't have any ideas, Jagielka and Distin looked solid but we didn't think of any other ways of getting round them.
Everton once they took the lead just soaked up the pressure to comfortably and finished the game off on the break.
Fair play they were very well organsied but we just didn't do enough in front of goal

Arteta(sp) 2x profs fouls and a blatant dive that Ref saw. Booked??? No!!!!
Cahill hand in to Tevez face in front of Ref......????
Ade got sent off for that!!!!!!!
Neville off the ball, hand in Bellers to stop him running(Yes Bellers silly retaliates)

Other than that they are an organised team.

How only 7 mins(3 first Half/4 second) added on I will never know.
 
to be honest. everton keep coming to our place, keep clean sheets every time and cahill always scores. it cant be a coincidence. they have a fantastic team spirit and know how to play away from home. imo if it was us we would be saying what a brilliant victory it was.
 
fair play, they were tough to break down. But we need to do the basics and defend well which we didn't so they deserved to win

We will miss Lescott big style for the rest of the season

Ha Ha good post Fixer and respect for accepting it gracefully, i've not come to gloat or anything because you or Spuds will get the 4th place in the end anyway.
We really wanted that win because we believe we can pass the Redshites, and if we finish ahead of them it gives us massive bragging rights on merseyside.
Villa are blowing it again and have to face Chelsea at the weekend so if we keep winning we can pass both of them and end up in 6th, which would be excellent recovery for us this season.

Nail on the head. They play football when they can and need to and they play ugly when they need to.

We need a manager who understands the Prem League, who won't just go out and buy the names and wack them on huge wages, we need someone who can mould a team of quality players together and make them play for the shirt, the supporters, the manager and each other.

The ref was crap Everton have a similar mentality as top 4 sides, they use every trick in the book and get away with it.
They break up momentum by, fouling time wasting and staying down when not hurt,Howard did this in the 2nd half and they scored just after, they are always on at the ref,and it works for them.
Not my idea of how the game should be played but an effective one.

Everton are the best team in the league at the moment, and we aren't the best because we are crap. City are not a team yet. You can buy who you want, but until Bob knows Tom will run past him, and Tom knows Jim will be coming in at the back post ................ I think you get the picture.

It takes time to build something. Yes, you are very good, but not as good as you will become. While you're growing though, offer a little respect to genuine teams with genuine talent, born from genuine hard work.
