Fair play MEN - Good Article

So finally the muen take on a blue reporter.

I was thinking, this reporter must be freelance while someone is on holiday, once the rags at the MEN read it, he'll not write for them again!

don't know what all the fuss is about. Stuart Brennan has written many fantastic articles about us. he is a first class journalist.

Good read that condensed major points that nobody can reshape and throw back at us.

These points most others choose not to use to balance the 'city ruining footy' type reports.
Refreshing and puts me in the mood for a gin and tonic.

Fair Play Rules are no more than the sad, unsustainable pipe dreams of a scruffy, megalomaniac, attention junkie, pipsqueak with the brain cells of a dung beetle and a head full of malignant magic.

I get the MEN free in work. Last week I was doing that puzzle that gives you 3 letters of the alphabet and you then fill in a crossword and try and work out where the other 23 letters are.

Anyway, last week on two occasions the 3 letters they gave were R.A.G, and they were in that order. Not A.R.G, or .G.A.R, but R.A.G. Whoever it is that compiles the puzzle must, absolutely must be a Blue. No other way could they have put RAG twice in one week. Therefore, lets find out who it is and give them some recognition (oh, or maybe not as they might get the sack).

Why he gets knocked on here i'll never know. He writes the best match reports in the country without any sniping at the club. He comes on here to chat to real supporters (who else does that) and is about as fair and un-biased as can be.
One or two of his analogies last season where a bit shaky though...
You do know you're talking to City fans on Bluemoon don't you? some of the most overly sensitive and paranoid football fans in the country! They see anything written about us and go into meltdown about everyone being against us to the point that they don't ever see anything positive when it's right in front of them.
I think that's more than a little unfair, mate.

Before the takeover we were fairly easy going with the press. Yes, we got a bit pissed off about the coverage united and the London clubs got, but certainly nothing out of the ordinary as far as football fans go.

Since the takeover the ongoing and sustained sneering and disdainful coverage of the club has had a completely understandable effect on how City fans view the press. We have had to put up with article after article from all ends of the press spectrum about how vulgar and classless we are as a club. How we haven't "done it the right way", and therefore by implication clubs with questionable histories like arsenal and united, have. We have to endure endless lies about managers and players who have "snubbed" City from the same journalists who made up stories about them coming here in the first place. We have had to put up with countless thinly veiled racist attacks on our owners from journalists who should know better, who would never dream of talking about the "Jews" that own united.

I could go on. We all know the script. It as been a seemingly endless invective against a club that dared to challenge the established elite by the only means possible. No other club in history has had to put up with such a sustained and unjustified attack on its integrity. It is of little wonder we don't like or trust the press.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Nailed on.
IMO since the takeover the football press have lost all credibility.
