Fair play to golum

Thanks for all the kind comments, lighter blues. I suspect we had to do something to make up for that gutless surrender at Wembley last week, hence we had a go at United. And best wishes to you for the rest of the season; I really hope you win the title.
thanks for the hand today pal get this season over come next year good luck to you

Thanks mate.

Everton showed their bottle today. Pride restored no doubt

I think all Everton fans expected us to bend over. To be honest when we went 1-0 up i wasnt too happy, as normally we would just park the bus (like at Wembley).

Was a good performance by a few players! Maybe not our defence though!!

Good luck on Monday - i hope you win, i have Aguero, Tevez and Hart in my Fantasy Footy team!

I wonder where that attacking performance came from?

Always had them down as a negative containing team, and that's how they approached the game at the Etihad. Maybe he thought they had to win back their pride, and only way to do that was to go for it.

If yer have Fellaini, Osman and The Cape Hunting Dog in yer side yer can do a lot more than contain, and now they have JellyItch they can go out and play a bit!

Wonder how many BlueDippers would have swapped that performance for the Semi!

If only some other sides would show how scum defence can be breached, with a bit of effort and determination. Swans coming up - another sick swan would be the stuff of dreams, as long as they don't overdo the obsession with passing and possession and have a few shots, like Everton did....

I have had a huge itch when it has come to Everton in recent years. Some of the stuff their manager and team, and especially their fans have come out with over the last few years about City has fucking wound me right up. When we were taken over the phone-ins were made up of a Everton fans on every third call moaning about how shit a club City are and how we didn't deserve to be taken over by a Sheikh. It carried on for a good while too; on most media outlets i saw (forums/reply collumns at the bottom of articles) or heard (phone-ins/coming out of Goodison) Everton fans moaning and bitching about City. Then we bought Lescott and it went into overdrive, with many of them coming on Bluemoon to belittle us at every possible opportunity with digs about titles and crowds and anything they could pick out or make up about us. Plus with Phil Chuckle celebrating in front of us at any opportunity he can get to rub a defeat in our faces i felt real hate towards that fucking club.

Yesterday seemed to hold Everton in a different light. I think the FA Cup semi defeat really made that result yesterday. They really want to finish above Liverpool and i think they will (i think Liverpool will finish in the bottom half!).

The thing is i can't fucking stand Liverpool and their self righteous, deluded, overinflated ego fans and the fucking media love-in for them on a weekly basis... so even with all the shit we've had off Everton over the last three [almost four] years, i hope they finish above Liverpool, well done to them for yesterday and i know they didn't have a thought about City at any point but cheers for that too!

I gained some respect for Moyes yesterday. Things he have done in the past have wound me up but I thought it was funny when Fergie was showing the 4th official his watch re injury time in first half and Moyes came over to have a look and said something.

I've had a feeling for a while that Everton would be the best chance of dropped points - my prediction beforehand was 1-1 with Fellaini scoring agaisnt the run of play to equalise late-on.
They fronted up to United throughout and if you do that their flaws are often exposed.

The frustrating thing is that - were it not for the travesty of the Derry incident - I firnly believe QPR would have done likewise.
