NDJ is quality. He was gonna get a game this season regardless of who else isin the squad. He is the best in our squad, as well as the majority of others, at what he does. Plus he looks fucking solid.

He's proving to be a solid midfielder that shines against any team. Certainly a solid starter seeing MH thinks highly of him too.

Not an unfair point, but I took that into account. What Touré does, regardless of whom he is playing with, is keep it simple. Only if it's nailed on, do I see him attempt a 40/ 50 yard pass. Very rarely do I see him try some jiggery pokery with his footwork and as a result I've never seen him clumsily trip over the ball in dangerous areas.

Kompany, at times, equates to a rugby player donning a tutu trying to kid himself that he can perform 'Swan Lake'...

Harsh, maybe, but fair.

I've always thought he was going to be a key player this season. Games like Wolves, Blackburn he's not really so vital but against the likes of the big four he is and was always going to be an automatic starter.

I don't really understand all this fuss over Yaya. I don't think we're going to sign him. Hughes didn't pay what he did for Big Nige to sit him on the bench as cover, he's one of the best defensive mids in the world and if he's injured we've plenty of cover in Kompany, Zabaleta and Barry.

I always thought he would have a key role to play this season as he's the kind of player you need in certain types of games. As a defensive midfielder he's the best at the club and i can't see a way back into the defensive midfield role for Kompany when he comes back

You have to admit that before the season started, you would never have expected him to feature AT ALL this season.
