Very far north of us almost on the Oregon border (five hour drive); we didn’t feel it down here at all. Had a little one a few weeks ago. Assuredly someday we will have a big one but don’t forget Loma Prieta was only back in 1989. 1916 was big but made much worse by masonry buildings and the fire.

Yes I saw on National Geographical TV a programme about Yellowstone and as you say it will be catastrophic when it eventually happens.
