Vile cheat yes but also a great player

Falcao. I think Suarez is a quality player but he's not the type of person you want in your team.

If honest the strikers we have already are very very good but I don't actually think we use them correctly.

Aguero, an absolute beast when running at people and clinical in the area. If you watch when we play he is very rarely in the box and normally has his back to goal.

Dzeko, has always required a supply of crosses into the box when he really attacks the ball and can use his strength and height to full potential. Again rarely in the area unless brought on as a sub when we start pinging a few more crosses into the box hence the reason he has succeeded so well as a sub and not a starter. His game is not about receiving the ball with his back to goal 40 yards out with a defender up his arse!!!

Annoying as it is you have to look at the way the red fookers get the most out of their strikers. Going back over the years Van Horse face is very similar in the way he plays to Dzeko and the play was suited to that style, constant crosses from left or right from wide players or over lapping, full backs. We just don't do that, you can normally count on one hand the amount of crosses we get into the box during a game.

Personally I think we need a Drogba, someone who can hold it up, attack and win free kicks but most of all have some pace to worry the opposition when we are under the cosh.

I don't know enough about Falcao to say he can do this but Suarez does scare teams with his ability.

Relax

Not sure RM will buy both Bale and Cavani - unless they sell LadyBoy which I still doubt.

Not sure we need players from this list anyway. We have some great players we need more people like Zaba to fill in the gaps, make us tick and get the best out of what we've got - together with a couple of players who give us a proper plan B - wide men we can throw on etc.

Suarez is amazing when he's having his day but can also be extremely wasteful in some games.

Falcao on the other hand, is immense, has a great attitude and is the out-and-out striker City need. Just imagine him and Aguero up top, would be the best strike partnership in the prem.

They are different players though - Suarez is more creative and in my opinion, he's not needed - Aguero is quite similar to him. Falcao is a player City need. Out and out goalscorer, no fancy tricks needed and turns half a chance into a goal.

We need a real top bracket striker this summer undoubtedly. Someone who guarantees 25-30 a season. Anyone apart from those 3 would not be top bracket because the others who are will not be available.

I don't buy into this looking at plan B stuff. Your correct in theory, we need something different to what we have. But for me the lack of effectiveness of plan A has been the biggest issue this season.

Exactly why were 15 points behind

We have a top bracket striker. Unfortunately he's been injured for a huge portion of the season (or recovering from it). To be honest IMO one of our biggest problems since failing to get rid of Tevez is trying to shoehorn two strikers into the team.

Aguero is undoubtedly world class, but he's not clinical and he wasn't last season despite his hugely impressive 30 goals.

Don't get me wrong, neither is Suarez but his effect on the game could still be huge even when he doesn't score he runs matches.

Agreed but I really think Aguero will add that to his play with experience. He's a few years younger than Falcao. I did think we would start seeing that this season but unfortunately injuries have all but killed it.

And as per my post earlier in the thread I'm a big advocate of getting in Suarez for the same reasons you mention. I think he could be the Hazard type game changer for us and even if he wasn't scoring himself his runs and general mayhem could easily create chances for others.

Id could really see that Agüero and Falcao striker partnership for me, because then we have the small creative attacker with pace, and an out and out striker who are also a great header of the ball, which is just what we need.
Off with Dzeko and lets see if Guidetti could take his spot.
