Family guy - Simpsons - American dad - South Park

Simpsons (may have faded but done enough classic stuff to still maintain top spot)
Family Guy
South Park
American Dad (never really watched one to be fair)

Used to love the simpsons before family guy came along, now I can't satnd to watch it, the animation is just awful, and you can't blame that on age, the old bugs bunny cartoons etc look far better than any Simpsons episode.

??? The new Simpsons eps are just as well animated as any Family Guy eps. I think Family Guy is a bit of a polished turd, all style with very little substance.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Life and Times of Tim, Ugly Americans, Frisky Dingo, Metalocalypse, Home Movies, Venture Brothers, South Park very crudely animated yet the writing is far superior.

Got back into Family Guy recently. The latter series' are seriously close to the bone! Some belting episodes were on earlier this week.

One had Peter saying he was in more trouble than when Hollywood cast Michael J Fox in the remake of Zorro. It then pans onto two mexican fellows asking who helped them and one of them goes, 'I don't know, but he left this insignia'. Next shot is of Zorro's insignia but instead of it being a 'Z', it's a scribbled, Parkinson's fuelled mess!

One with E.T. too who attempts to help Tom Hanks' character in Philadelphia. 'oooouuuuch', he goes whilst pointing his glowing finger at the AIDS riddled patient in the bed who says, 'but you didn't touch me', to which E.T. responds, 'I don't wanna get AIDS'

Hahahaha!!!

Nothing can touch South Park. It is amazing the work they do there. No other animated show can compete on those terms at least because they can turn around an episode in days, which is why it's by far the best social commentary. It is art compared to the others. It is made by the same people who started it who still have full control over it. Trey still writes all the scripts on his own. It is made in less than a week so it always stays relevant. They have battles with executives nearly every week to try and push some point like over the Muhammed censorship issue where they fought Comedy Central tooth and nail to let them show Muhammed (didn't happen but they fought for it). Matt Stone and Trey Parker are two pretty inspirational people as artists and just the sheer talent they have. Listen to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgshUz9a8Ys To pull an episode like Woodland Critter Christmas off in days after the year they had (four days off, twenty hour days) is amazing. Go and watch it and then deny the talent they have. Apart from one of the most successful animated series in television history they now have one of Broadway's most successful shows ever to their name as well. I'm looking forward to the next season of commentaries to see if Book of Mormon followed by another South Park run killed them again like in the video above or whether they really did learn from their year of hell.

Here they are explaining why Family Guy is shite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4eeKn579kQ and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmP4hH49erM

Hahahaha!!!

Peter & The Barber Shop Quartet singing "You have AIDS".

Peter's Boss: I have enough tranquiliser darts here to take out Robert Downey Jr!!

Quagmire slowly rising from behind the couch at Meg's sleepover.

Peter & Lois smoking weed and going on stage.

Just far too many lol moments.

The other 3 shows just pale in comparison.

South Park-just because, Trey and Matt are just gods to me
American Dad really makes me laugh a lot
Simpsons is my old faithful, I still like it, but it isn't the show it was but whatever.
Family guy is funny sometimes, but its self aware humor has worn out to me.

1 Family Guy - Some great characters Mayor West always cracks me up. Brian and Stuey a great comedy duo for me.
2 Southpark - Only got back into it love Randy in it a class act shits all over most and to be honest its hard to split between this and Family Guy.
3 American Dad - Its alright to be honest but doesnt get near the other 2 ahead of it.
4 Simpsons - Simpsons early stuff was good but it has gone to shit maybe it was better when I was a kid watching it.
