Kudos to the Family Stand on Sat, piping up with "Stand up if you love City" thought it was only going to be the family stand but suprisingly spread round the ground and was a good effort from everyone.

They get a lot unfair stick so I thought I'd mention it.
It was started by one guy at the front of 135 who does his best to get things going every match often without result. Well done mate
the guy is a legend funny as fuck[/quote]
agreed he really is a top bloke

Was in the Family Stand on Saturday for the first time. In all honesty i was expecting a bit of a library atmosphere, no offence to the regulars. Most of the songs do die off pretty quickly but as you said the 'Stand up if you Love City' chant was great plus the Poznan broke out a bit so it was better than i expected.

still prefer the south stand though lol

The loudest songs in the stadium are often the ones which start at that side of the ground. It's the reason I'm
A big believer in the "one end" idea: the song spreads out both ways because there are no away fans in the way. Its just acoustics of the stadium

I sit on the same row as the bloke who started stand up if you love city in block 135. What a star, about ten minutes after starting the song a young lady steward had a word with him as she was walking off he stood up and shouted why always me, funny as fcuk.

i sit in the family stand and it isn't very good most times and nobody sings from where i sit except this one bloke who sings to every single song from the siging section and the south stand at the back. he is the life of the block. it's great when everton play us as he just sits there shouting TURRETS all the time to tim howard haha. we don't start songs but if everyone sings then the north stand then joins in. it should be taking more of a lead sometimes.

but yeah the stand up if you love city was brilliant from the north stand. it started in the north stand/colin bell stand corner i think

I was well impressed with the Family Stand yesterday. Heard this being sung and looked around and saw the half the Family Stand stood up and didn't think it was going to get much further. Then it spread round the ground! Good work, keep it up blues!

It's great to see the family stand getting some credit. To be fair that guy is a nutter always at it usually with his back to the game as he tries to get everyone going
Nutter, with top front two teeth missing, but a top bloke.

I must admit whenever i go in the family stand i can't get over the number of lads i see who used to be the nutters in the 80s. There are some old hot heads in there that's for sure.

He's my mate Paul, his nickname is yap yap, for obvious reasons. He's a star and loves City obsessively and you should hear him sounding off to the rags, he never loses an argument (not hard though sometimes!)
