family stand

Yep I'm one. My daughter now doesn't qualify for junior so its now increasingly unlikely we'll be renewing as I've mentioned in the other thread. I'm probably gonna look at being a "blue" :(

have renewed but considering trying to relocate into the family stand once it becomes an option. subsidised prices would be nice but if we can't get two together on the 2nd level we'll stay where we are.

I'm expecting to get bounced out this season, my youngest is now 16, my eldest 18, but I haven't had any communication to that effect yet.

2 Years ago my eldest son got quite a snotty letter telling him he had to move, after which I had to spend several hours trying to get through to customer services to explain that he was a part of our family still.

We have renewed on line already, and as far as I'm concerned we have a contract with the club to provide us with the seats for which I have paid, which incidentally were at the 16-17 and 18-21 price bands on the system.

I tend to agree with another poster that they probably won't be able to force everyone who's kids are above the age limit out.

Don't really want to move as we get on well the the crowd around us, great seats too, L2 behind the goal.... be a bit of a wrench seeing we've been in these seats since the 2nd season in the new stadium.

Don't fancy the scrum in the renewal window if we are forced down that route either.

I might move from the family stand. Can't be doing with the two idiots behind me. They never shut up all game. Shame really cos i'm right behind the goal level 2 front row.

I an in the family stand and have a really annoying group who never shut up and want everyone to hear their conversations. Probably get hem everywhere. And a woman with the most annoying, awful voice, who keeps kicking my seat. I might punch her in the face today. The people either side are really nice.

Me and Mrs PTB are going today minus my daughter so there's one empty seat. If I'd had known she wasn't coming I would have taken another child, but advertising it short notice and the risk of being thought of as a coronation street cast member was all to much.

But don't worry I will sing extra loud once I've eaten her share of the Rolo's......

Excited about today as I'd like to see what we can do with the shackles off. Is Komp's stil injured?

-- Sun May 19, 2013 2:34 pm --

I will have a word with the Mrs and ask her to stop kicking your seat.......heheheh, she'll kick the shit out of me if she see's this!!!!!

Some fans have managed to watch City for next to nothing for a few years now. Pay next to nothing for tickets never go to away games, yet call themselves great fans for turning up every other week. Family stand, bunch of moaning part time fans.

Do I detect a "self-congratulatory" stench to your post, Kevin ? I'm more of a fan than you , sort of theme ? Pretty pathetic mate. I have an idea. You sit where you want to sit, go to as many away games as you like, and I'll do the same. You won't affect my life, and I won't affect yours ! Hey presto, nirvana !!

Surely there's a point where they won't physically be able to oust people from the family stand due to age. Where will they all go ? Assuming they have to keep the number of ST holders to 36K, for now, then existing family stand members could only be moved to "dead man's boots" , assuming also that they plan to sell on your seat to new fans. Fair enough, maybe up the price to reflect what it would be elsewhere, but surely they can't turf you out of your seat unless you're happy with your new position-if there's a new seat available ?? Do the club have an "official stance" on this ?

-- Tue May 28, 2013 7:35 am --

Surely there's a point where they won't physically be able to oust people from the family stand due to age. My lad is 16 now, we've renewed our tickets. I've not been told I will have to move yet. Is 16 the age when we have to move or 18?
