family stand

My lad is 16 now, we've renewed our tickets. I've not been told I will have to move yet. Is 16 the age when we have to move or 18?

I've got the opposite problem.
Ive got a great seat in 212 with all my mates, but my lad has now hit the age where he wants to go regularly, so I have to get involved in the scramble for tickets if possible and move to the family stand as there are no spare seats to my knowledge (certainly not two together) for 212.

They need to allow something like 5 free upgrades per season for child to adult tickets in the family stand.
A guy whose kid can't make the usual late midweek games and some due to other commitments understandably will not risk his son's ticket by taking a overage fella in on the occasions his son can't make it.
I noticed they did this for the recent West Brom game, and hopefully they can come to some sort of arrangement for next season. Obviously ensuring it isn't open to abuse.

curious about why it should be free? simply pay the difference and upgrade the ticket I understand you can do 6 times so no problem to be solved here
move along

You can upgrade as many evening games as you like (I think) - only allowed 2 daytime games a season

same happened to me this season,2012-2013,i was in 218 but my young son wanted to come regular

I renewed into 218 , on the first day of relocations ( 2012 -2013 )I went down to the stadium ticket office and relocated in 234 the family stand, only after they assured me my son could get a seasoncard next to me,he didn't even have a supporters number but they gave him one and honoured him his seasoncard, hope it works out ok for you too !
