Garrincha, he was a bad lad wasn’t he? His Mother in Law was killed in a motoring accident when he was driving a car that crashed into a HGV. He assaulted at least one of his partners, fathered 14 kids (maybe more), drank heavily and died from Cirrhosis of the liver and it was rumoured he lost his virginity to a goat. Joey Barton is a saint compared to that fella.
 
If you don't name the example it is hard to debate it. I don't think any player or manager is beyond criticism. You state without solid evidence they are getting shit and if that is the case then I agree, but without knowing what you are talking about then who knows.

i know, but i don't want negativity. the world has enough of that. i get constructive criticism and i get players sometimes play badly. but yeah hate that doomsday stuff. hate all the "the players are shit" stuff. hate hate HATE

Some people on here have their favourite player. When that favourite is displaced by another player, they tend to give the new player lots of stick whether justified or not.

We have people here who have gone from the Grealish thread, to the Nunes thread, to the Rico thread. I imagine that they were FFS Mahrez posters, and Plodri posters, and Unc posters, and Raheem misses too many chances posters. It is just life that we have people who thrive on negativity. It will be the same away from football too. There can be no balance if the only thing you look for is stuff to confirm what you already think, and today's algorithms feed that beast.
 
Why let something like this rile you up? Could be some "fan" sat in Asia that's never seen us play live.

The more attention you give it the bigger it becomes.
 
A large percentage are foreign ‘fans’. Fucking ruthless.

At the other end of the scale some of the happy clapping is just as annoying. As for what's posted on here mirroring everyday life? I very much doubt it. The posts on the match day thread are in real time when emotions are running high and shouldn't be taken too seriously. If anything makes them more entertaining . We don't want to be going full dipper and closing the thread during the match.

Tbh not sure what happy clappers got to do with it. It's a thread about the poison being spread, about our own players, buy a small section of our fans, who would throw the team under the bus for a few clicks. Different thread surely.
 
I've often wondered if other forums are as bad regarding slating their own club/players/fans.

Online fans seem worse for it than match-going fans but I think we've always enjoyed having a bit of a whinge about something/someone.
