Fan channels

Boil on the arse on football.

Some the richest 'influencers' have been allowed to spread bullshit over facts and you can see what it's done to our clubs reputation. But compared to Arsenal it's destroyed them and they've done it with their own.

There's a few factual and funny ones. However some have turned talking bollocks into a living

Fair few at lower league levels which there fine decent fans going to games and giving an insight into there clubs.

Its the Grade A twats who are making huge money off failure without even going to a game.

I can’t get into these. I get bored of hearing a small selection of individuals’ opinions, and a small number of people can never have a wide range of information and facts.

It can never touch forums where you get a huge number of varied opinions, information and facts. I come away with far more from bluemoon-mcfc than any fan channel can ever give me.

Plus, you can easily skip past posts you don’t agree with on forums and they can get forgotten about quickly. Whereäs, these fan channels don’t half make themselves and their fanbases look stupid when they come out with bollocks, as it gets reposted across social media again and again.

I try and avoid them if I can to be honest, and stick to forums.

My Youtube channels:

City - Forever City, mcfc lads, biasmancity, prime mutton.
Utd - Saeed TV,
Arsenal - AFTV. Heavy D and Claude used to make me smile. Sadly they are no longer with us.

Used to be a Man City fan tv years ago similar to wolves tv. Not sure if still going

I used to watch Cheesy and Twsips stuff. Now the only one I watch is big Steve as he is quite entertaining and I like saying 'easy people' in my best manc accent.
I think big Steve is the only one I can relate to or listen to. Even then I’ll only watch short clips.

Most fan channels are a load of shite

I run one and I have for a long time. I also personally don't even like the idea of a fan channel either lol. I totally get why they irritate people as a lot of them are performative and I do believe the intention behind some of them is attention seeking or opportunistic. Not all, but some. You can usually tell quite easily.

I dont expect anyone to believe me, but for me it's genuinely just the case that I enjoy chatting to people and about things I love, and I enjoy creating things. I've been like that since I was a kid. It's a compulsion. I'm an incredibly sociable person and I find chatting about City on videos an awful lot of fun. It's something that comes natural to me.

I'm of course biased, but I do think there's value in them to an extent. We're all incredibly busy and it's nice to have someone chat City that you like listening to. A sort of parasocial relationship, but that's 2026. I think overseas fans are less likely to have fellow city supporting mates too so it helps them feel a little more informed. I think the appeal is that we're inherently social creatures and these fan channels fill a tiny gap for some people. It is what it is.

Ultimately, as with anything, there are good examples and there are bad examples of these things. I tend to feel we should just let people enjoy what they like and not worry about it. we all like different things.

We have quite a few but only real ones I watch are from people who actually go games , i know every one can't afford it but some of them dotn bother at all like Forest Brent over at United

City ones ill watch, Big Steve, Mcfc lads (sometimes) and Martin
United -Saeed and Nurradin, both go OT and I used to work with them both on Doors

I won't do watchalongs, go to the game ffs

This guy is building up a following, dont expect tribal hatred from him, worth a watch,

This guy is quality, if he was a United fan I reckon he would build a following to rival Goldbridge. Simply by the fact he can break a down down into phases and looks in depth at what we are trying to do tactically. Is pretty level headed and doesn’t rage bait aswell.

Only thing I disagree with him on is how Donnaruma’s buildup is affecting our second half’s. While I don’t disagree it may be a factor, his saves alone has got us like 10-15 points. Can’t blame Luigi when I see our midfield the shambles at times it can be

Some of the league ones are bang on :) one a fleetwood fan who covers there games covered our promotion against his side and he was spot on very good vids indeed .............thats the thing about the lower level vloggers they aint fooking chancers not giving a fook about the club and out for the money ..........that lot make money out of failure ..........would likes of Aftv or Goldbridge be making that amount of money if there teams where good ????? Look at the daft rag **** and his haircut did he really look gutted when West Ham stopped him from getting a haircut ??
Failure at there clubs makes them money and thats a fact

The thing is these fan channel hosts are now getting the gig on sky sports news.
I swear one morning I thought i was watching a rerun of why don't you? as there was so many of these twats on from their various channels.
I like watching the red cartel wanker fans channels when they lose as is entitled wankers behaviour to a tee.
Whether they are putting in on or exaggerating it i don't know but I would say their reactions are 100% genuine meltdowns.

It’s modern media, I’m getting more and more into it. I want to watch content solely about City, and I get stuff solely about City when I choose to. You can pick and choose to avoid the attention seekers, the ones out for clicks at all costs. I enjoy Nobbins, LB, PrimeMutton, Big Steve, Esteemed Kompany is decent too.

Not a fan channel, but Woody Unscripted with Mike Wood and Kevin Horlock have done some excellent podcasts which I also watch on YouTube, a lot related to ex player’s addictions - Andy Morrison, Mark Kennedy, Paul Walsh, Mick McCarthy, Jim Whitley with Woody and Super Kev sharing their own experiences. A Paul Stewart one has just been uploaded, which I suspect is going to be a tough watch.

Not as depressing as it sounds, I’d say most of it is fascinating.

You do a good one.

You're honest. Don't get carried away with sensationalist headlines or click bait.
