Fan Culture

Another 30 years of this and football as we know it will be over IMO, it will be like going to the cinema etc.

One day a fan might go to the Eithad and the next day maybe go to the swamp or klanfield.
Reading the pub thread we’ve got a lot of hipsters that enjoy craft ale in the NQ, I’d probably get thrown out for being old.

If they are talking about online culture

We don't really have the viral fan cam channels on youtube like Arsenal, Liverpool & United etc

Mainly IMO because last few years while we've been in our pomp there's been nothing to consistently have meltdowns about

There's a few channels talking about City signings, form etc. But nobody losing their minds so no need for neutrals to tune in and laugh.

We have got that absolutely hilarious scamp that doesn't know where Peterborough is.

Def worth writing a little about the young fans finally coming through.
It's notable at away games, much better atmosphere than pre Covid, more singing, new songs etc. Always thought it'd take a decade or so for this, it's people who were at primary school when we won the league.
It's needed.

Songs are much the same.
Never win at home is still one of the best and keeps memories of where we came from alive.
Empty seats at home is good.
Cancelo song was/is good, dunno if it's just for Xmas time.
Is this the Etihad - when home fans.start leaving early.

Thanks all. Only had 200 words or so to spare. Went big on young supporters. Very interesting views anyway, cheers!
